We can't enjoy life if we're taking things too seriously. The best way to do it is by exploring and jumping outside comfort zones. So put simply, we make gear for just that. We prioritize function over form, quality over price, and originality over bulk. We make stuff that we want for ourselves, and design in a way that improves whatever it is that needs improving. Therefore, we only make stuff out of the best materials the world has to offer, design slow and test hard, and only create shit that you're gonna be stoked you purchased years down the road.
The company was founded by two Kiwi explorers and bar yarners. More than just explorers, we're obsessed with discovering what lies beyond the next peak. A Designer and a Marketer by trade, we have roots in all avenues of the outdoors, from climbing the highest mountains to fishing the deepest channels. If we have an inkling that somewhere new needs to be discovered or a new season promises a new adventure, we will chase it down. It is with this ingrained sense of discovery and countless hours of trekking and sleeping in the outdoors that we set our sights on crafting better gear to handle our brutal demands.
That's not a heading mistake, I'm just curious to see if anybody is actually reading this. Probably not, who reads 'about' sections on websites. Anyway, if you are reading this... cool, but you should go outside and get stuck into something that might result in a wicked view or a burst of adrenaline. Or at least go check out our gear, it's pretty good we reckon.
