The GeoBiv™ is the result of years of testing, developing and problem solving. This ultralight, ultra packable, 2-3 person shelter is the brainchild of a pair of adventurers looking for a solution to the never ending "less is more" pursuit. The GeoBiv™ offers a big space for fully spread out bedding, plus packs, boots and all the gear in the world, it's highly weatherproof, packs down tiny and weighs next to nothing, and is most at home on the side of mountain miles from any track or road.
The GeoBiv™ could probably best be described as hybrid between an enclosed single skin tent and a traditional tarp. The geometric design optimizes wind shedding and is insanely strong when set head-on into it. The internal space is shaped to allow plenty of comfort for sitting up and moving around while the tapered head and beak-entrance/gear areas both minimize excessive wind pressure, shed rain and conform to natural body positioning.
The PU coated, 20D Polyester Ripstop skin is the ultimate balance of ultralight and tough. This waterproof, seam sealed fabric has all tension points reinforced for additional strength.
The GeoBiv™ can be erected in number of ways to adjust to the terrain. Four guy points are positioned to adjust for ideal tensioning when strung up between trees. Or, tramping poles, tripods or GeoBiv™ Poles can be used in open country with guy rope points to stake out to the ground.
The custom GeoBiv™ Groundsheet and GeoBiv™ Poles are not included, they can be purchased individually or as a package.
